Roads - photo contest is the new challenge conceived by Ducati for who loves changing and living situations their own way, interpreting and representing the reality through a shot.

The contest is inspired to the versatile character of the new Multistrada 1200, that encloses 4 souls in one single bike and is ready to transform itself upon each new adventure.

Everybody can take part in the contest, even without owning a bike.

The photographs admitted in the contest must be unpublished shots and represent exclusively images of roads without any bike. Each road must be inspired to one of the 4 riding modes of the bike - Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro and must recall at an abstract level, the concepts of “Adrenaline”, “Freedom”, “Daily life” and “Adventure”, each linked to a map of the bike. Therefore, let loose your creativity and imagination because any abstract concept can be represented in different ways, a road, a detail of it, a route... give life to your artistic character!

Traditional, digitalized and/or digital shots are admitted, in black and white and/or colour, in RGB mode. The maximum weight allowed is 800kb for single photograph and a maximum size of 1024 px of width. (The winners must send their project at high resolution, possibly with a long side of 2500 px.)

The contest is articulated in different phases:

  • From 1 February to 16 April 2010: the applications to take part in the contest will be accepted
